Memory foam contours to your body and isolates motion well — good for side sleepers and couples. Hybrids combine coils with foam for better airflow and edge support — good for hot sleepers and heavier bodies. Latex is durable and naturally cooler but usually firmer. Innerspring offers the most bounce and breathability at often lower prices.

A trial provides time to assess a mattress at home, but the number of nights is only one condition. Check minimum use requirements, return fees, pickup arrangements and exclusions before buying. A longer trial does not guarantee a better product.
